Sean Murphy received his M.A. in Psychology at The New School and is currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Adelphi University as well as a Senior Research Fellow at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. He formerly worked in a variety of software development and other information technology roles. His current work with the Referential Process research group concerns the psychometric properties of measures of the Referential Process and their validation, as well as the development of new computerized discourse measures.
